Martyrdom of Imam al-Mahdi and the Funeral Prayer by Imam Husayn
I have heard that Imam Mehdi (as) will be killed by a non-Muslim woman with a stone and Imam Hussain (as) will recite his Namaz-e-Janaza and bury him. Is this true and, if so, may I have a reference for it?
Yes, it is mentioned in many narrations that Imam al-Mahdi (AS) will martyred and Imam Husain (AS) will pray his Namaz e Janaza. (Biharul Anwar , volume 53, page 103 and Al-Kafi 8:250) Wassalam.
