In Australia there is halal certification which is used on food labels and the halal label is granted to some non-muslim owned companies stating that chicken is slaughtered in a halal way. Is it halal to eat those foods (food that are halal certified, even though the companies are owned by non muslims), and also does it matter whether the halal certification is granted by shia or sunni? I would like to request the answer to be as stated by Ayatollah Ali Alsistani, please. Thank you
